Zengingönül was born in Ankara, Turkey in 1966.
He started his professional life in Cumhuriyet Newspaper Ankara Office in 1985. His academic career started in 1989 in Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences, İzmir. His major is on Social and Behavioral Psychology in Work Place and Social Life.
He was awarded a Research Ph.D post from University of North London (Currently London Metropolitan University) between 1993-95 on “Androgogy and Adult Learning” and had his Ph.D degree accordingly. From 2008, his major and collaborative studies combined with Neuropsychology.
Since 1996 Zengingönül is delivering; “Working With Potential”, “Positive Psycholgy in Work Place”, “Neuroleadership”
“Adult Communication Skills”, “Neuroscientific FunPractic”, “New Brain in a New Era”, “Team Forming and Team Spirit” and “Train the Trainers” programs in İstanbul-based ERA Training and Consultancy and in his currently founded (February 2019) own company; OgulOwl Academy in Hilversum, Netherlands.
From 2021 to 2026, he worked as a Senior Lecturer at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences, based in the Netherlands. He is a certified Gestalt Coach. Fencing player. Drummer. Married and has two daughters.
