Oğul was born in Ankara Turkey in 1966. He has graduated from Gazi University, Ankara in 1988 with B.Sc. degree at Business Administration-Management.
During his last two years in university and the year following from his graduation he worked for Cumhuriyet daily newspaper as international affairs correspondent and parliament and social policy correspondent consecutively.
He started his professional academic life in Dokuz Eylul University – Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences -Izmir in 1990. He was awarded a research scholarship in University of North London (currently London Metropolitan University) between 1993-1995 and had his Ph.D degree on Social Policy at the end of 1995. From 1995 till present he is tutoring on Social Psychology, EU Social Policy and Working Life Problems in the University. He has 5 printed books and several printed articles in academic journals.
During 1997-2003 he was employed as Deputy General Secretary by Aegean Industrialist and Businessmen Association (ESİAD) responsible from R&D .
Starting from 1996 Zengingonul is delivering “Working With Potential”, “Neuroscientific FunPractic”, “New Brain in a New Era”, “Team Spirit”, “Negotiation”, “Motivation”, ” Intelligent Communication Skills” and “Train the Trainer” programs, delivering numerous speeches on work-life balance through ERA Training and Development Company.
He is an active fencing player and playing piano and percussion. He is fluent in English and French.
He is a graduate of ICF accredited Eurasian Gestalt Coaching Programs as a Gestalt Coach.
He is married and has two daughters.
